Frank Costello

 You know that part in The Departed where Frank Costello first meets Billy Costigan (Leonardo) to check out if he's trustworthy? He asks his associate Frenchie to search him. And by search, of course, he means slam his broken hand onto a pool table to check underneath the cast.

Well I had a dream last night/this morning where Jack (playing the role of Frank I assume) comes to meet me to see if I'm a worthy candidate or not to join his shady operations. Anyway, we're walking along the dark halls of some obscure building, and I'm a little nervous. He leads me into this room, where suddenly, he pins me down and on top of a table. Suddenly, I realize that he's going to inflict serious pain on me. I fight with all of my strength, only I can't break free from his grasp. Fear. Anxiety. Desperation.

And right then I woke up and realized I was going to be late for work.

What the heck?!?

10 SONGS I DON'T SKIP ON MY IPOD

Last year, I pared down my 1000 song playlist to "those I would never skip." Whittled it down to 700-something. Got rid of the throwaways like the "really dirty" Eminem songs and the slow, boring Jack Johnson tracks. Well it's amazing how after listening to those remaining songs day after day, I now find myself skipping through the vast majority. I guess it happens after hundreds of plays.

Here, in no particular order, are ten songs I still don't skip over, no matter what mood I'm in:
